- One Of A Kind
- Commonly referred to by its shortened name "OAK", the site has been around as a poker community since August, 2006 (see the first news post made on the site!) In those early days, we were among the innovators in combining online poker with a dynamic community experience and unique offers (such as our Bubble Guarantee which has since been copied by others) to our members.

The OAK 2.0 title refers to the official relaunch of the site in September, 2009, which introduced a host of new features as well as a long awaited graphical overhaul. You can click the thumbnail image on the left if you're interested in seeing a snapshot of how the site used to look.
- The way it works still remains the same though: If you join up and play poker through our online poker partner Mets Poker (see below), you get to participate in our community offers (which you can read more about here.

- First of all, participation on OAK is free. You will never be prompted to make any payments to OAK or Mets Poker in association with your participation. However, be aware that to be able to benefit from some of our community offers, a certain amount of participation is required (you can read more about the specifics in the offers section.
- To get started, you need to register a user account on this site and a player account on Mets Poker.
- Important: It's your own responsibility to observe the laws regarding online poker in your country of residence. And while poker clearly is a game of skill (as opposed to what some ill-informed politicians might claim), there is also an element of gambling involved. Be responsible!

- A general note on conduct
- We expect civil behaviour from all our members on this site as well as on the tables when playing Mets Poker tournaments or cash games. Flaming, trolling and mudslinging is not allowed, and might lead to suspension of forum/chat privileges, and in severe cases of misconduct, banning from OAK. What constitutes a violation of the conduct rules will be determined at our own discretion. In short, be nice!

- Overview

- Rakeback
- By joining Mets Poker through OAK, you're entitled to join the Monthly VIP Bonus program (visit this link to see the details) which entitles you to up to 50% rakeback depending on the number of hands played. You can also choose to go for a 30% fixed rakeback solution if that fits your playing profile better.

- A Signup Bonus entitles you to 100% of your initial deposit back if you fulfill the requirements associated with the bonus. Available signup bonuses for players joining Mets Poker through OAK:
- The OAK-1000 bonus is recommended for most uses as it's the most flexible and works with any initial deposit from €10 to €1000.

- We host our Freeroll Satellites on Wednesdays at 21:00 CET. The prize pool consists of 5 tickets to the very popular €10k Guarantee tournament each following Friday. The value per ticket is €75.
- To be able to participate you need to have generated 50 VIP points since the last tournament was held (ie. in a 7 day period since it's a weekly tournament.) The tournaments are currently password protected, so it's important that you edit your Mets Poker nick into your profile on this site to make sure you receive your password automatically if you're qualified.
