Biggest win: |
$17.000 in a $100k Guarantee tourney on Noble poker, and a little over £10.000 in a William Hill tourney. |
| Info: |
I've been playing Hold'em for about one and a half year, and am still waiting for my first big tourney win. My poker interest began already in elementary school, where we used to play 5-card draw for nickles.. I'm currently studying IT in Volda, and play online poker to add to my student loan. Or sometimes, reduce it - depending on what happens on the river. ;) |
Info: |
I'm playing almost exclusively No Limit Hold'em and have been playing for about 2 years. I began my poker career on William Hill, but soon discovered that the B2B-network had a more pleasant interface and a more interesting tourney structure. I'm also known as Tjaffenes on B2B for those wondering.. |

How do I become GOOD at playing poker?
There's no substitute for practice when it comes to becoming a better poker player. But it doesn't hurt to educate oneself about some poker theory either. We've made a little list over available resources on the net that you might want to check out if you're interested.
The english newspaper The Guardian has a series of articles going that tackles basic poker concepts, such as bluffing, position, checkraises, etc. Reccomended for beginners.
The poker forum 2+2 is an excellent source of information for players on all levels. Here's a list of forum posts that may come in handy for intermediate / advanced players. (For an explanation of some of the terms used in these articles, scroll down a bit on this page.)
You can also contact us in the forums, and we'll try to help you out. ;)
